Becoming a Member of Voluntary Action Melton:

There are two categories of membership of Voluntary Action Melton – Company Member and Associate Member.

Company Member:

Any individual living, working or volunteering within the Borough of Melton and neighbouring communities who is interested in furthering the objects of the charity may be admitted to membership of the Company, subject to the approval of the Directors.

Any voluntary or community organisation operating within the area of Melton Borough may also be admitted to membership of the Company.

To become a Company Member please contact the Chief Officer who will discuss this with you and ask you to complete an application form. There is no charge to become a member.

Company membership entitles you to vote in the election of Directors and all other business conducted at General Meetings, stand as a Director and to a copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association. Company members guarantee the limited liability of the Company to the sum required not exceeding £10.00.

Associate Member:

Associate membership is available to any voluntary or community organisation or individual who wishes to register details on our database. To register please contact the administrator at Voluntary Action Melton and complete our organisations details form.

Associate members can use all the services and resources offered by Voluntary Action Melton and are invited to General Meetings but cannot vote.
