Funds & Figures Training Session
on
"Strategic Funding and Finance Management"
Available for Voluntary Organisations, Community Groups and Registered Charities.
Commissioned by the Funds and Figures Project, this course will be led by an experienced trainer from The Directory of Social Change and includes:
The World Of Funding - how it is changing and how to respond to these changes.
Costing Our Work - how to fully cost your work and how to present costs to funders.
Where Is The Money Going to Come From - effective fundraising and income generation.
Planning Ahead - how to plan ahead, to think strategically and to avoid being funder led.

Funds and Figures is a 5 year project is supported by the Big Lottery Based at Voluntary Action South Leicestershire (VASL) and working across the Melton and Harborough districts of Leicestershire. We provide training, advice and information on Fundraising and Financial Management for Charities, Voluntary Organisations and Community groups, to help them achieve their aims over the longer term.

The AGM will include the district community forum with guest speakers. Light refreshments will be served from 6.30pm – 6.45 pm with key note speakers from 6.45 – 7.15pm. This will be followed with questions from the floor. The AGM proper will start at 7.45pm. Invitations will be emailed / posted during August.
The Community LinX Forum is an opportunity to meet with representatives from local voluntary and community groups. Our topics will be the development of Total Place and the Big Society and key speakers will be Andy Robinson, Assistant Chief Executive of Leicestershire County Council and Grahame Hudson.
The agenda will be posted here closer to the AGM date.
