Finance Administrator

Part-time 15 hours per week - to be worked flexibly over two/three days.

£21,412 per annum pro rata

We require an experienced finance administrator to manage all aspects of Voluntary Action Melton's finances.

The successful applicant will be a part qualified accountant (AAT Technician or similar qualification) and have experience of SAGE.

Part Time Administrative Assistant

Local Community based financial Co-operative requires an experienced and enthusiastic cashier/administrator in our new Melton Mowbray office. Initially hours would be up to 18 per week. However flexibility will be an important factor in our appointment to this post.

The position involves dealing with new and existing members, handling cash transactions, opening accounts, general administration. You will be a key member of a small team in our new town centre office and will ideally possess:

• Excellent Customer service skills
• Good numerical and computer skills
• Team player qualities and
• Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues
• Cash handling experience

Desirable but not essential

• Working in a financial environment
• Working in a community environment

Hours:-
Tuesday 8.45 – 14.15
Wednesday 9.45 – 14.15
Friday 9.45 – 13.15
Saturday 8.45 – 13.15

Holiday 25 days per year (pro rata)

Pay up to £6.75 per hour (Pay will be based on proven experience and skills)

Responsibilities include:

• Support the office supervisor with the running of the office
• Cash transactions – End of day reconciliation
• Opening new accounts/new membership
• General Administration
