SUPPORT FOR VOLUNTEER INVOLVING ORGANISATIONS

Our aim is to recruit volunteers for local voluntary, community and statutory organizations. We also provide support, information and advice for the organizations involved while they have volunteers placed with them.

We can:

· Ensure your opportunities are publicised through the national volunteering database and other media
· Broker volunteers and help them find the placement that suits them best to ensure you and your volunteers have a positive experience
· Provide you with information and guidance on working with volunteers
· Offer support, advice and assistance for both you and your volunteers during their placement if required
· Keep you informed about local and national developments that affect volunteers and the voluntary sector

A NEW FORUM FOR VOLUNTEER INVOLVING ORGANISATIONS

A new Forum is being set up in early 2007 for local organisations to get together to discuss all aspects of volunteering, exchange views and information and give feedback on experiences and training requirements etc.
