SUPPORT SERVICES

As a local infrastructure organisation supporting voluntary and community groups we offer support services to the community.

• Access to office services e.g. photocopying,typing,
poster/ticket design, laminating
• Short term assistance in developing a new group
• Advice and support on volunteering opportunities
• Advice and support in identifying funding opportunities and completion of applications
• Information and guidance on organisation development, e.g. monitoring and evaluation
• Training courses and/or information about relevant training provided by other organisations
• Meeting room hire, ‘hot desking’ facilities and access to the internet
• Loan of equipment including LCD projector, display screens, flip chart, spiral binder
• A library of relevant books and journals on topics of interest to community groups
• Printed directories
• Community Voice – a bi monthly newsletter

We also offer support and guidance in looking at registered charity status, developing an effective committee, becoming a trustee and roles and responsibilities of trustees. We offer access to training on various subjects and have an extensive library of information which is of help to local voluntary and community organisations and individual volunteers and volunteer using organisations.
